A happy Re-connect

Way back in 1985 a tourist couple was waiting for a ferry in the Irish town of Tarbert when a group of enthusiastic children spotted his camera and came smiling requesting to take their picture. His girl friend took the picture, being film cameras in those days, the children never go to  see the picture. They smiled some more, mumbled a thank you and went away. 35 years later, the man came out with this picture hoping to locate the children and connect with them. He did. Very quickly too. Thanks to the social media. Jennifer, Derek, Kenneth and Thomas. Unfortunately Derek died at 16 from a tumor in the brain. The first three from the left are brothers and sister. What a beautiful re-union story.

The story is up at Tarbert towns fb page. The page itself is an experience of how a small town in Ireland live their lives..
